Why a register
Verified jungle leadership, when it matters.
The register exists to identify guides who have demonstrated, in the field, mastery of the Five Core Competencies that govern long-term work in tropical rainforest environments.
Expeditions, research teams, broadcasters and organisations can draw from the register when they need leadership that has been measured against a known standard — not a self-declared one.

Admission is by demonstrated competence — not by application volume.

Guides are added once they have met the standard.
Admission is by assessment in the Darién. There is no application list — guides are considered when their work in the field has been observed and verified against the Five Core Competencies.
The register is live and being populated as our first cohorts complete assessment. Named entries will be published here as guides meet the standard.
