Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Darien Academy ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you use our website or get in touch with us.

1. Data we collect

We collect the personal data you provide directly to us, including:

  • Your name and email address when you submit the contact or register-interest forms.
  • Your telephone number and message content where you choose to provide them.
  • The course you are interested in.
  • Booking details (name, email, phone, prior experience) and payment confirmation data when you reserve a place. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store your card details.

2. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the information you request.
  • To administer course bookings and communicate about upcoming intakes.
  • To meet our legal, safety and insurance obligations.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (enquiries and interest registration), the performance of a contract (course bookings), and our legitimate interests in running and improving the Academy.

4. Storage and retention

Your data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above or as required by law. Enquiry data is held for up to 24 months unless you ask us to remove it sooner.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, our payment and email providers), and where required by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
